From writing for one of the country's largest student newspapers and mountain climbing, to playing competitive sports and sampling cheese and wine there are around 300 groups and activities run through LUU that you can get involved in whilst at Leeds.
We are an international University and many of our clubs and societies reflect that. From groups focusing on a specific culture or part of the world, such as the Chinese society or Ghana Society, to more general groups such as the Model United Nations, East Asian Cinema and Amnesty International, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy being part of our global community. You can also make friends from all over the world and experience different cultures and perspectives by getting involved in Global Community activities like the weekly Global Café and the annual World Unite Festival.
The Chaplaincy works with both our staff and students and those at Leeds Metropolitan University. It supports our multi-faith campus with a range of activities including its weekly International Students' Club. The chaplaincy works alongside different faiths and can help put you in touch with particular faith communities.
