| There are various Levels at which the student can join his studies at the University, depending on the Qualifications they have already obtained |

Foundation Year, 1 Year |

The University of Leeds International Foundation Year (IFY) is intended for academically able international students who wish to study at a British University but do not yet have the qualifications they need to start an undergraduate degree programme. |
|

The IFY allows you to study the relevant subjects that you will need for your undergraduate degree programme and helps you to develop the study skills that you will need as an undergraduate student. |
|

If you are offered a place and you come to Leeds then, depending on the undergraduate degree programme you have chosen, you will be registered on one of the following International Foundation Year programmes of study:
Arts
Business
Design
Engineering
Joint Honours
Performance
Science |

Majority of undergraduate degrees offered at Leeds support Study Abroad Option, students on some programmes including those in Dentistry and Medicine are unable to participate due to the nature of the course. |

Most students add an additional year to their programme and go abroad for the third year. |

Students who complete a successful year abroad are awarded a 'European' or 'International' degree. |

University of Leeds offers 12-month integrated placement as part of your UG degree to a structured summer internship and volunteering, the opportunities are many and varied. |

Full-time taught Postgraduate programmes are of twelve months.
As a taught postgraduate student, you will combine traditional seminars, lectures, and tutorials with independent project-based investigation.
Assessment is through written examinations, essays and projects as well as continuous coursework. Assessment methods can vary somewhat between departments and your department can tell you exactly how you will be assessed |
