University offering Economics International Studentship 2014

University of Leeds, UK, has invited applications for its Economics International Studentship.

Students pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) research study for the first time within the Economics division programme offered at Leeds University Business School can apply for the scholarship for the academic session 2014. Interested students have to apply before May 1, 2014.

Scholarship details:

The scholarship covers the student's tuition fees at the relevant International rate and a maintenance grant of £13,726 per annum. The students will not be provided any additional allowances for travel or research costs. 

Eligibility criteria:

The applicants should first submit a research degree study application form and be in receipt of a university banner ID number (student ID number) to be eligible for a school studentship.

The applicants should possess a first degree at undergraduate level equivalent to at least a UK upper second class honors degree and a British master's degree in a relevant discipline.

How to apply:

The applicants have to submit their online research degree application after which they will receive a unique banner/student ID number by email. 

As soon as they receive this number, they can submit their chosen scholarship application/s using this number on the application form.
