  In order to provide local guidance and support to all students who are keen to apply to University of Leeds, The India Office of the University of Leeds was opened in June 1999
 
  The office is located in Connaught Place, The central part of New Delhi. It is next to the British Council at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi
 
  The Office was inaugurated by Mr. Dominic Scott, Head - Arts & Education, British Council and Ms. Sunita Kriplani, All India Manager - ECS, senior members of British Council ECS team, Press Personnal & Guests were present
 
  The office helps student in Counseling, Guidance, Information on all Courses, Application Procedures, Pre Departure Briefings, Accommodation etc

  Lord Woolmer of Leeds, Prof. Andrew Lock, Dean, Leeds University Business School (LUBS), Prof. Jim Lynch, Direcor, Institute for Corporate Learning (IFCL), University of Leeds visited New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai from January 8 to January 19,2002
 
  Mr. David Baker, Head, Intenational office:, Dr. Clive Souter, Director, Joint Honours and Sara Avery, Marketing Manager, Leeds University Business School (LUBS) visited India in February 2001 during the British Education Fair.
